About

E-learning refers to asynchronous, self-paced learning delivered electronically – including prerecorded videos, visuals, text, quizzes, simulations, games, etc.  In this study we will focus on the skills needed for effective e-learning design, identify training topics that work well for an e-learning format,  and how organizations are delivering a personalized experience through e-learning. This report will include a brief section on how organizations are using (and planning to use) AI in e-learning.

Key Findings

  • E-learning is most often used for mandatory and compliance training.
  • Most organizations personalize their e-learning content.
  • Using AI to create e-learning assets is common.

Primary Capability Covered: Instructional Design

Participation in this event, either live or recorded, can be reported for one (1) professional development point toward initial certification or recertification requirements for the APTD or CPTD credential.
