Kevin Himmel is Chief Operating Officer at The Regis Company, where he leads the design and deployment of AI-powered simulation and skills validation programs for Fortune 1000 organizations. His work sits at the intersection of AI, learning technology, and workforce strategy, helping HR and talent leaders move beyond activity metrics and use behavioral data to make sharper decisions about capability, readiness, and talent pipeline development. Under his leadership, Regis has launched SimGate 2.0, the AI-powered skills practice and validation platform that generates the behavioral evidence enterprises use to answer their hardest workforce questions.

Kevin is a frequent contributor to industry conversations on AI in learning, skills intelligence, and the future of workforce readiness. He works directly with HR, talent, and L&D leaders at global enterprises to translate practice-based data into the talent decisions their organizations rely on. He holds a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Entrepreneurship from Northern Illinois University.
